Basically, a decent show. Nothing outstanding and nothing too stinky. Lots of pot smoking, which seems a bit weird to me. At least for this music. But, hey this is San Francisco and this is The Filmore. Not quite The Paradiso in Amsterdam, but some folks were making a hard effort.

The show really withered in the encores. I don't know why. Perhaps everyone had already had enough and needed to just go home. Perhaps we never really 'had' the audience throughout, and they just finally burned themselves out on the sonic assault. Or perhaps, there were evil forces at work. Slipping their devilish ills into the hall and sucking us into performance obliteration. Or maybe we just weren't good enough to pull off the encores. Or maybe they were the wrong pieces. Or maybe......... well.... basically I don't know. The show just smeared away, and that was that.

There were some photographers tonight. And I must say that I am feeling pretty mixed about this. But, more on this in the next entry. (Yes, today I am writing about two shows at the same time. Shame, shame, shame... shame on me-e-e-e!)
